The role is to become a member of the UK IT Field Services Team, where you will be expected to be customer facing, resolve Tier 1 & 2 support calls. Maintain PC stock levels through repair, imaging and Service Desk tracking. Occasionally required to visit and support UK locations.Candidates should be Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional or Microsoft Windows XP Professional, MCP in any other Microsoft applications advantages. They should also have a good knowledge of IT Helpdesk Processes or 6 months of equivalent experience, HP OpenView ServiceDesk (or equivalent Integrated Helpdesk Ticketing tool).Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 & 2003 Professional components (Including MS-Outlook)and a basic understanding of Networking Protocols.IP Telephony hardware and software related, PC* Laptop hardware knowledge, effective troubleshooting experience, remote support of VPN clients using SMS * Terminal.
